Isn't "Crack Whores Gone Wild" kind of redundant?
Oh, and gay is spelled G-H-E-Y.

There are two flaws in that diagram:

1.) No mention of spam content.

2.) The use of the word "village". I don't think we have any.

Funny, but I had just been mentioning to my wife the other day that Wikipedia has actually started to become a go-to reference source, lately. It's tons better than it was even two years ago, by a factor of about 500.

Still, all of my graduate school syllabi lately include the directive with regard to papers: "Scholarly sources only. Wikipedia articles may NOT be used."

I find it handy for online citations, only after I check what I'm linking there and know on my own that it's correct.

One thing remarkable to me -- which I only discovered the other day -- is that it does not permit posting of original research. That strikes me as profoundly ridiculous.

I oughta bash off a note to Jimbo, since I knew him back when he was just a Usenet kook like me, and before all these damned brats started clogging up the 'net.

I admit it - I use Wikipedia. That said, I only use it as a starting point for finding actual, trustworthy sources... or for information that is so commonplace that it is as good a source as any (like, say, who wrote the first Twilight Zone shows... and I feel so dumb for having to look that up).

All that aside, that graphic is as accurate as any :).
