I'm going groundhog hunting.

Apparently on the orders of some rodent back east, Gaia is depositing another few inches of global warming on the streets that were almost cleared of the last batch.

Thankfully, I don't have anyplace I really have to be today, so the snow is merely pretty, rather than a colossal pain in the butt.

We're expected to get 3-6" of global warming tonight into tomorrow.

The next groudhog I see is gonna wind up as a hat. A hat, do you hear!!!

Quoting Don Gwinn:"In other news, no one in central Illinois needs a rodent to figure out that winter's not over at the beginning of February."

Clearly the two inches I just measured on my driveway (which was clear when this round started) are imaginary, since the NWS said that they expected less than an inch this morning.

They have craftily changed their forecast since 7AM, however. The bastards.

22-250 makes rat into a marinade all its own...

It's like being lost in the desert for a week and someone offers you a glass of sand!

Chuck, the Staten Island groundhog for NYC, went and put a chomping on Bloomberg's index finger, drawing blood. Go Chuck!!

Uh,...I was going to mention something about the 58 begrees in The Great Frozen Northern Rockies, but I changed my mind. I'm not going to bring it up. Or the sunshine. Or the no snow on the ground. Or not wearing a coat or gloves for the last few days.

Orangeneck: Chuck just made known how most Islanders feel about "Mayor Mike".

I may go up to the zoo tommorrow, and give Chuck a piece of carrot. Positive Reinforcement, donchaknow. :)
