Fun v. Practicality

The arrival of the 3913LS further adds to a dilemma that I've been struggling with regarding the CS9s.

Namely, as much as I'd like to use these as carry guns, they're just not practical. The last new 3913/CS9 for commercial sale came off Smith's lines nearly fifteen years ago. Holster options are scarce, magazines are blood money, and spare parts are generally going to be of unknown provenance and possibly cannibalized off of junked guns. It would purely be an affectation.

But with the demise of the P239, that leaves Springfield's homely and unloved XDE as the sole 9mm subcompact single stack double-action hammer-fired pistol on the market. At least Ernest Langdon is supporting them?
