Beautiful revolver! I wish I could give it a home.

That looks like fun, sadly I'm broke and besides it would break my "No more new calibers" rule

Me want, but the Peepul's Replublik of Kalifornicate says, "none for you!"

A 10mm with a 3" barrel?
Geez...it the round don't kill 'em the muzzle blast sure will!

Man... If I can peddle my Saiga12 fast enough... Want!

The muzzle blast isn't as bad as you'd think. Since in a revolver, the barrel is measured from the forcing cone and not the breechface, a 3" N-frame has a longer effective barrel length than a G29 or Colt Commander and less than a quarter inch shorter than a Government Model.

Depending on price, I'm interested. I'll watch the bidding. Guess I've gotta register with gun broker.

For those of you who expressed a desire for the admittedly way-cool Smith, consider this: if "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", what sort of focused armaggedon would issue from a Woman Outbid? I'm pretty sure it would involve terms such as "wailing" and "smite". And "gnashing".

:)

Very cool, Tam. I see that the GB listing includes the sentence, "As seen at The Arms Room." Will GB let you make that a link to cosmolineandrust?

It's Sunday Smith #34, no?

{reads Sunday Smith #34 article a bit more closely}:

Tam -

I know someone who carries a 10mm revolver from time to time. I'll let him know about this one, as I'm pretty sure it's shorter than the one he carries now.

And I was probably a little lowball on the price even then, as more than one commenter stated.

I saw a 3" 610 at the last Indy 1500 sporting an ~$1100 price tag, and it didn't come with a bag full of moon clips...

$300 and a 296 in .44 Special?

So you're selling the 610 huh? Charting a new course away from the 3 inchers?

First let me applaud your use of Gunbroker. Speaking only from my own personal experience I have found it to be a legitimate source for the purchasing and selling of firesticks. I like to see a leopard capable of investigating new camo patterns. I think it should come with an autographed 8x10 of you holding it to establish it's provenance.

I like when some old crag kicks off and their heirs dump their loved one's life's passions. Two killer examples.

Tam I'm not posting to tease but just to let you know I like your blog, your euphemisms and style always put a smile on my face.

Yeah, I'm shuffling off some of the newer stainless guns to free up cash for some non-Smith shooters and some older pre-war guns.

Just passed it on to my friend. He can't afford it (allegedly) but he'll look at it tonight when he gets off work (which means he can if he really wants it). His current is a 610 4", which he sometimes carries at work.

I got an unfluted 610 4". This will be a nice backup. Plus, Tam once owned it!

Man. Beautiful. "Someone" we both know sold the Lew Horton 3" 657 and another N frame TO GET A FRACKING SPRINGFIELD XD. And the bastard didn't even tell me the 657 was for sale.
