Not to put too fine a point on it, but...

...he's right:
"It's not a matter of whether or not they perform their intended role well; it's whether or not they collude with the state in not only misinforming the public, but actively -- with malice aforethought -- disinform the public. They propagandize for affirmative evil. They willfully spread lies. They conceal information they know and can verify in order to support their favored candidates and issues and then try to deny that's what they're doing." -Mark Alger, BabyTrollBlog

Oh, they get it alright, same as a robber understands property rights. Our pointing it out to them makes no difference. They only stop when they're afraid, or more specifically, when they're convinced that there's nothing to be gained from their shenanigans, or that the price for their shenanigans is more than they're willing to pay.

We are far from having convinced them of the above. For the most part, the necessary demonstration isn't even being planned.

Why should they stop while it's still working for them? -- Lyle

Yeah, but have you been tracking GCI or NYT on the market?
