Overheard in the Hallway:

RX: "I'm surprised that your banjo picture post didn't get more linkage."

Me: "Too small a target audience. You have to know about the sticker on Woody Guthrie's guitar and be aware of the zombie menace to really think it's funny and, face it, that's a pretty thin slice of the nerd pie right there."

Too many younger people these days don't even know who he was, or confuse him with his son.

It's easy to tell the difference between Woody and Arlo Guthrie. Woody was the one who wrote and sang some good folk songs and was a fan of Joseph Stalin. Arlo was the one who wrote and sang a few songs and was a fan of Ho Chi Minh. Neither one would qualify as politically wise.

I didn't know about the sticker, but I loved the movie. So it's all good.

Wow, I didn't even know I was a nerd!
Verification word was "deeseed". Irony, with a post (in part) about Woody Harrelson.
