That would look REALLY nice mounted on the top of my Versa. I would need to cut a "sun roof" in, but hey, it would be totally worth the time.

I like the rail; is that for the detachable carry handle?

Did you see this note?

I'm hoping we see Reemington matched packages but I suspect it will be military only.

Call me old fashioned, but I'd like to play with one of my old Colt Mk.12's again. They ran good as long as you went through all the links first and only used the tight ones.

Otherwise you got stretch, and the spread link would hang up on the last feed roller when Mr. Fly Guy pulled heavy G's.

Accurate? Wow! Stick the old Mk. 10 sight in them and you could boresight for 1,000 yards instead of 600, and they shot groups at China Lake on the sighting stand that I'd be proud of with my 6.5/284.

The M61 was fun, but three quarters of it's loadout was wasted on empty air. Big groups. Patterns actually.

With the Colt, you had precision. Elegance. And a really neat sound.

Sweet. But give me one of them in 22 lr and watch me. Imagine a little GAU with a bowlfeeder full of 22 lr rounds just feeding away. A 22 isn't a very formidable thing- unless you have thirty thousand of them headed at you in a very short period of time.
