Some days it's just not worth getting out of bed...
In a world full of South Pacific earthquakes, Alaskan pipeline breaks, American soldiers indulging in a bit of freelance murder and rapine (PLEASE tell me that the UCMJ has provisions to execute them by firing squad...), and lying reporters, it's reassuring to know that Paul McCartney's divorce is proceeding along normally. At least, I guess it must be for some people, because they felt compelled to let me know about it...

A good day at home, too. Overnight thunderstorm dropped several trees and limbs across the driveway, the long-term houseguest did a little surfing on the home computer early this morning and picked up a wonderful trojan (no home computer until I get home to fix it, in about a month...), and while on the phone to me the wife notices a large, hairy spider hanging out in the sink.
She doesn't care for spiders...
