It might be a day off work if you're still in your tactical house slippers at noon...
Note the stylish sweatpants, too...
(After Action Report: Those are the 5.11 ATACs that I bought
here. In the interim I have worn them to work
nearly every day, and for plenty of miles on a motorcycle. Only last week did the toe of the right boot suddenly spring free from the sole, instantly converting them to house slippers. As an indication of how much I liked them, as soon as I'm finished noshing on this burrito, I'm heading out to buy a fresh pair...)

Sweatpants and a day off...I'm guessing that burrito is of the microwave variety, probably making claims of green chili pepperness, among other things.
You're a holey pair of underwear away from it being laundry day.
Some Shoe Goo would fix those right up.

What? No duct tape? LOL
Duct tape? Nah. 100MPH tape is more appropriate. Come on...its tact-i-cal afterall.
"Duct tape? Nah. 100MPH tape is more appropriate."
Same thing, hoss.
Always wanted to try some of those sidezip boots. Lacing up Danners everyday takes at least three minutes I could be walking out the door or feeding the cat.
But then I've never had the toe sprung on any of the Acadias... yet.

No shit, Lash Larue. But would you rather tape a tactical boot with silver 'duct tape' from Home Depot or with GI issue BLACK or OD 100MPH tape?
Now I could have suggested DPE Tape, but
that's $50 bucks a roll. But considering the size of Tam's stompers and how hard she is on her footwear, it would probably
be more appropriate......
Actually the term 100mph tape is derived from it's millitary/civilian use as a repair for fabric covered aircraft. It is still a legal repair for aircraft that have a 100mph cruise speed if the tear isn't too big. True 100mph tape is not the same as duct tape. True 100mph tape doesn't come off and is much heavier than Duct tape.
The next time you need a pair of boots check out either,
Whites
http://www.whitesoutdoor.com/index.php
or,
Nicks
http://www.nicksboots.com/
You might have to shop aournd on each site to find the boot that you need.
These are almost totally custom made and can be rebuilt many, many times.
They are not inexpensive, be prepaired for sticker shock.
Shoegoo repair seconded. Plus, there's

Prob. the same brand that I use, Tam. Mine are still intact, though. ;^)
Your post does remind me that I have to get a beige pair to go with my CA blending in outfit.
Black shoe-goo, some sand on the outside to break up the shine, & another coat on the outer edge, & you'll have re-treaded those puppies for bike duties.
