View From The Desk.

I have stared blankly over the top of this monitor long enough for this morning. I'm going to take a Sierra Nevada and Daughter of Hounds out on the porch until I can't stand the heat any more.

I need more bookshelves.

Now that's more like it!

I was worried there for a minute; the other picture left me wondering "That all the books she's got?"

Sounds like a good book. I'll keep an eye out for it. Have you read
"In Fury Born" by David Weber?

Exactly what Rick said.

You might actually be competitive in a "who has the most books" contest ;-).

Anybody who has enough bookshelves just doesn't have enough books. Either that, or they have a _really_ big house.

*Snigger* I see Honor Harrington Books. My fault! My fault! ;)

Yeah, you and Oleg and rennaissancemann were pretty much responsible for that.

The top shelf is all SF hardcovers, the four below it are about a quarter ton of weapons-worship and MilHistory coffee table books that are threatening to collapse the shelving unit.

""In Fury Born" by David Weber?"

Yup. It's around here someplace. Probably several geological strata down on the futon.
