I love Daylight Savings Time....

...but it's real hard to feign much enthusiasm about it at what my hindbrain is telling me is 0mygod30 in the AM.

I'm abandoning my roomie to her typing and heading to Nat'l Gun Day in L'ville. Back later!

I had not heard about a national gun day in Loius ville.
What is that about?

It's a honkin'big gun show, Ditto. I should'a gone but I was under the weather yesterday and didn't want to risk it. (Also I so very don't need to spend money right now).

0651...Me typing...it is to laugh. Five hours later, I attained verticality. And still haven't blogged.

After decades of wading through the same farmer-blame and attempts to drag Franklin into it, I've worked out a theory.

"Eastern War Time" (or "Golfer Time") works faabulously on Long Island. The farther west one goes, the less sense it makes. Western Ohio, and the parts of Indiana not attached wrist-and-ankle to Chicago and Louvul, get it worst. And will continue to do so.

Dunno about you guys, but that means the range at my club is open an extra hour!

SPRING FORWARD, SPRING FORWARD, they cried. So I did, and woke up to find the ground covered in SNOW this morning!

Damn this global warming.

Soon we'll be ice skating in July!

Dang, I missed the show. I hadn't heard about it here under my rock and I live a couple of hours closer than ya'll. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

Sorry to hear you are having trouble standing up Berta

Having lived in Hawaii and Arizona, neither of which does the "Spring forward, fall back" thing, there's one thing I could never understand:
How come, when you cut a foot off the bottom of a blanket, and then sew it back on to the top of a blanket, some people think you have a longer blanket?

Formerflyer,

Daylight before 7AM doesn't do me much good.

Daylight after 7PM is all kinds of useful.

And there you have it.

God knows more about time than President Wilson.

Hmm. This character defect might cost you some 'coolness' points. Not that you don't have them to burn, mind you, but. . .
Daylight savings time is wrong.

Of course, I have a nasty tendency to crash between 6 and 7:30 pm anyway. I don't care when it's light or dark. I'm just greatful I'm awake.
