I really enjoyed my LDA double stack, i have large hands and it fit well. Then I made a error and dropped it. At that point I could not even rack the slide back to expel the round in the chamber. I finally did. But I'm prior military and know that weapons do drop or get dislodged from one's hand. I sent to the factory and it came back servicable but I could never really trust it after that. I wish him the best of luck. And thanks Tam for what you give us everyday. Tim
Love my Tac-Four. Had to pawn some guns today (plane tickets for a funeral, and I'm paycheck to paycheck). Reluctantly handed over the Ruger 50th anniversary pair and a with-lock S&W Mountain Gun. Had that Tac-Four cleaned up and boxed, in the event I needed more collateral. Glad I didn't, as it's loaded, ready, and home.

I don't believe he's intending to CCW the weapon.
...and you're welcome! Glad you like it. :)
That is a nice heater indeed. It certainly gives me the warm fuzzies :)
I carry a Para CCO, Officer-sized 1911 style. Never had a problem other than cutting my hand when the slide retracts.
I carry it in rotation with my M13.
To be truthful, their LDA triggers still do not give me the warm'n'fuzzies. I've just seen too many odd breakages for me to completely trust them.
If yours is good for you, that's cool. Todd Jarrett obviously likes his. :)
Heresy.
If LDA was indicated, John Moses Browning (PBUH) would have designed it as such.
Totally OT. Did you see that Mr. Rawles on SurvivalBlog needs your snailmail to send you a review copy of the newest edition of his novel, "Patriots"?
Roger the JMB grave-spinning over the LDA trigger thingy.
Never could warm up to Painted Ordnance guns, anyway.
Word Verification: Cauri.
Not quite "Carry", IOW.
