The mighty hunter is home with the kill.

There is fresh venison over at New Jovian Thunderbolt's.

It's his first deer, which puts him one ahead of me.

Yup. I think I'll go back to one of my favorite siglines for the top right of the blog... :)

I thought we had some tiny deer in E. Texas, but that one's no bigger than a greyhound. Bet those backstraps are mighty tender, though!

Congrats on the venison! By the way, I just started my own gun blog on here, partially inspired by you (heard about you on Armed American Radio), and I am an Indianapolis-area resident.

My blog is http://acappellagunfire.blogspot.com

Thanks Tam!

Last year during Thanksgiving Weekend I was visiting a friend in Indy...we went out to Camp Atterbury, and I was truly amazed at the number of hunters with deer from there..Out by the ranges we must have seen three dozen hunters vehicles, with at least one deer per...

Seems like you're in a terrific place to get that deer.

Watch out for PETA* Jovian. They might eat it all.

"Meat is Murder. And Murder Tastes Good"

Tastes even better when you harvested it yourself.
