Ugh, November...

My first good bone-deep chill of the season settled in this past week. I won't really be warm again until April...

On my way to CPH, thank you for the reminder to take extra clothes...

We got the serious cold over a week ago. We're getting a break from it right now.

That being said, I made sure my shovel and snow scoop are at the front of my garage for the pending onslaught.

There's a reason why the sauna is popular in northern latitudes all around the globe, not just in Finland where they claim to have invented it. It is nice to be able to get warm when the mercury is freezing in the thermometer.

Sitting around in a 160 degree oven can get your core temp up to the point that rinsing off by jumping through a hole in he ice is not too bad.

Hell, I spent Nov. 26-29 in Florida...then I come back to seeing my breath & the wind trying to slice'n'dice me. If I had a job lined up, I'd've been loading the cats in the truck about 3 hours ago.

Yeah, greetings from Wisconsin. As a member of the Donner party might have said upon setting out, "It ain't too bad, so far."

Yass. A woman your age needs to be careful of the cold...

Well, I don't know about APRIL because the latest Farmers Almanac says there is going to be a snow storm in April, 2010 for this general area.

Just a 'happy' thought for all of us 'Northerners'...

All The Best,
