Why days off traditionally come in pairs...

Because I managed to more-or-less completely avoid doing anything remotely productive yesterday, I have my chores cut out for me today. It's off to the wash-'n'-fold with me.

But first: steak and eggs, medium rare and up, hash browns scattered, smothered, covered, peppered, and cooked crispy. (Did you know that Waffle House serves 21,000 miles of bacon strips a year, yet they won't sell it to me by the foot?)

I suppose it's a knock on my masculinity that I get strawberries and whipped cream on the waffle with my All Star.

So be it.

It is unfair that there is not a Waffle House within a thousand miles or so of my location.

I demand Congress remedy this.

Mmmmm, Waffle House.

Good food and a caberet if the hosts are in a particularly talky mood. Which they usually are.

I miss the all you can eat at Waffle House. Then again, back when I was in my "5 inches a year" phase, I might be why they quit doing it.
