Once more unto the donut-making breach. But just once. After this weekend, no more.
I'm sure I'll look back on it fondly some day. Or not.

Hmmm...are you about to make another career change?
No more getting up at stupid o'clock has got to be a good thing?
I hope all goes well!
Sounds like better things are on the horizon....
Anyone with the ways and means to get out of the food service industry deserves congratulations!
Kitchen work can be one of the toughest ways to make a living as well as one of the most fun.
Yopu surely know how to make people curious! ;-)
Any job that lets you sleep later than you have been is an improvement. Even if you won't meet giants who make you blush...
;)
So, are you going to write advertising copy for Smith and Wesson or something?
"Sounds like better things are on the horizon....."
Or over it..... I recall mention of a U-haul.
"Is it Texas? SURVEY SAID:....."
So.
Donut making pays well enough for you to retire young, does it??
Hope it turns out good for ya, I do.
The suspense is killing me.
I worked for 3 weeks making donuts about 12 years ago. Started at 11.00 pm, shift over at 7 am. It sucked. Really really really really sucked.
I liked working as a cook, line cook, prep cook. But making donuts--it sucked.
Tam,
I worked as a small cog in the petro pushing business for about a year. I was very glad when I finally left. They however were less than pleased since I had helped to increase their revenue. Oddly enough my revenue did not increase likewise...
Regardless, that's over a year and 2000 miles ago.
Fair winds and following seas.
{rant}
When Tam says "time to make the donuts" it means "rise at o'dark thirty to go to work" not to literally make donuts.
Hint: She is/was a cog in the oil pushing monstrosity. Which has nothing to do with $&%^ing DONUTS!&*@*&@#
GOT IT?#?! Geez.
{/rant off}
So, is Tam moving to New Hampster to be closer to the eurodork, or is she moving west to be closer to the volkypolky?
Hey, Anonymous-- you might want to check with your doctor about reducing your daily intake of Aggravatinol, okay? See if it doesn't make you feel a whole lot better. (It will others, trust me.)
Tamara does know how to manipulate her Site Meter with a cliffhanger doesn't she?
Where?
Why?
I know the answer to one, but not the other.
Stay tuned, and remember: Keep Watching The Skies!
