Mmmmmm... Breakfast.

Off to Cafe Patachou for breakfast. More later.

UPDATE: ...and what eccentric names they have for their omelettes! Mine, stuffed with bacon, cheddar, sour cream, and horseradish, was called "The Overachiever". Shootin' Buddy ordered something called "The Hippie With A Benz".

Hippie with a Benz.

That'd be a Liberal University Professor, sporting the skullet with a ponytail and beard, in corduroy pants, the same pilled and nappy sweater he's been wearing since 1977 and a pair of wornout Birks.

And an Obama bumper sticker.

I had a plain ol' ham 'n cheese omelette the other day. What'd they call that?

Ahhh, three-egg omelette, hash-browns with gravy, biscuits and strawberry preserves, fresh coffee... Just a piece of heaven.

am I the only one who read that as Cafe Pikachu?

Dave, I read it as "Cafe Patchouli", that'd be a real hippy joint!

Horseradish? Wow. It never would have occurred to me to put that in a breakfast omelet.

Now I can't stop thinking about it.

Reminds me of "I Love Sushi" in Henderson, NV. Their rolls have very colorful names, like "I Love My Ass" and a personal favorite, "Tastes Like My Ex-Girlfriend."

Tasty sushi, btw.
