As an alternative, pain't 'em like Indy cars of yore: the Leader Card Special, Novi Vespa Special, Miller-Gulfs, that Cummins diesel monstrosity from the '50s (actually the car ran like hell, but it was so heavy they couldn't keep tires on it), the Granatelli turbines from the '60s.
