Political parties are not capable of learning.

If you want to change the direction of a political party, you, and a bunch of like minded others, need to invade it and take it over.

The twits running it now will continue, like pointy haired bosses, to run it into the ground. Once it goes the way of the Whig Party, and canoot elect anyone, or raise a dime of contributions, the idiots who ran it into the ground will join some other party, and start to run it into the ground.

Don't try to "teach" and organization anything ... it isn't a human, and cannot learn. If oyu want different actions by an org, you have to take it over.

The problem is that I could give a fig about the Republican party. I am not now, nor have I ever been, a Republican. The org I want different actions out of is the US government, and the different action I want is for it to leave me the hell alone. Unfortunately, neither of the political parties is offering that option, nor does even a plurality of my fellow citizens share that desire anymore.

I remember years ago how much Neal Knox (God Rest His Soul) despised McCane. They were both from Arizona and Knox's evaluation that McCane's word or guarantee was as good as a check written on wet toilet paper, especially when it came to backing gun rights.

He may be Obama's or Hillary's opponent, but that still don't mean I will vote for him, cause I won't. someone else said it better than me...voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.

There is no "Win" in this selection.

All The Best,

Over the next few days, you will watch all the conservative bloggers, etc. etc., who bitched and whined and hated and exposed McCained for YEARS - deservedly - for everything he did wrong on all the issues - will now change sides and first explain how he is the lesser evil, and then outright praise his military record, his standing with both parties, his platform.

Quite sad really.
