Look! Stylin' knife!

The accounting staff here at VFTP Command Central (that would be me) has informed the Management (that would also be me) that our little weekend jaunt was a bit too frisky with the finances for a starving artist. As always, Our Loss Is Your Gain!

Available for your perusal at eBay is one fine example of fixed-blade steel: A Paragon Slim Battle Bowie, designed by Larry Harley. Look at that sexy blade shape! You should buy it. It would make you happy. Trust me.

nice blade...my son-in-law is big on dog hoggin' here in central fla and has a birthday soon so i might jump in.

btw, that last feedback comment compliments you on your "earthy" character...funny.

and i've read quite a bit of your lovely writing and i don't think i've ever seen a misspelled word before...but it's collectible (that won me free window signs once when the dumbass sign guy bet me it was collectable)...i guess he didn't know i only bet on sure things...jtc

I'm high bidder at 40, but what does the knife NEED to go for?

I'm all for several of us pitching in, buying the knife and leaving it in a responsible parties hands. From then on we can say: Tam? Hell, yeah I know her, we're practically related. She's got my knife.

50.00. This thing needs to climb on ebay up past the NRA convention bill, hangover included.

For over a year, VFTP is usually the first thing I look at online in the mornings, and I often check back thru the day for fresh snark.

I don't need another knife, but the tip jar works just fine and there's a little something in it for you this evening.
thx.

I very much appreciate it, y'all.

I'm not trying to stand here with my hat in hand; this is a legit sale of a legit collectible knife. It's one reason I have things like this; they're harder to spend than cash, but can be turned into such in a pinch. :)

Hopefully the 900-1,200 words per day I've been managing to write of late will turn the net outflow from the collection back into a net influx before too much longer.

Well, I have never lusted after chasing hogs with dogs, although come to think of it the whole bunch would love the experience if done correctly. Now how do I drop ten pounds and at least thirty years? That knife is too beautiful for the high bid offered today.

Man, I got outbid in a hurry.

140.00. Not even half price yet.

Wonder where exactly you are supposed to insert this thing into a pissed off hog?

I pushed it to 130. It's out of my hands now (so to speak).

No telling what this thing is going to go for or what it's worth. Anyone want to get co-ordinated with me and split up the total and leave it with Tam?
Just pushed it to 145 with a lot of time to go. Anyone got a ballpark number on where this ought to end up?
