Well, not really. I just wanted to say "electric boobs", since it will make Google no end of happy.
Actually it's an electric bra. Solar-powered. More of a solar-powered cami, actually. Just think how smug and ecologically superior you could feel when flashing people from your Prius and they're all wearing old-fashioned internal combustion lingerie. Or something.

Origato,

Will there be hybrid and solar versions? Have to reduce those carbon t*tprints.
Yes, they just write themselves.
"old-fashioned internal combustion lingerie."
I'm....
I'm at a loss for words, I am.
Well, no, I'm not, but... I'm at a loss for words I'll use in mixed company.
Yeah, but the ones wearing the steam-powered riveted lingerie will still be looking down their noses (through brass goggles) at everyone else.
Can't wash the thing. Can't see that being pleasant come July in the Deep South.
Laundry has never been a big concern with hippies...
I understand the steam-powered ones are making a comeback. I bet they're toasty warm in the winter.
Self-heating... you mean, like when it's cold out? And you're wearing lots of clothes, which covers up said solar cell? Ok, back to the drawing board!
Electric bras nothing. I want to see electric panties with a stick shift overdrive and 4-on-the-floor. Whirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....Screeeeeeee-BAM!!! LOL!! Musta hit a wet spot.
Hey, Tam... here's a new bikini for your next photoshoot: http://www.hippyshopper.com/2007/04/solar_powered_b_2.html

So it comes smelling like patchouli straight out of the box?
Best misheard lyric of all time ...
"She's got electric boobs
A mohair suit
Ya know I read it in a magazine..."
Heh.
M
Internal combustion...infernal, more like it!
I'm so old-school my brassiere came with a buggy whip. Wait...that ought to make Google happier...
It would now appear obvious that Phillip K. didn't know Dick-- it's not electric sheep that androids dream of...
MattG,
Perhaps he was writing about Scottish androids?
