I cut the TeeWee off in the bottom of the fifth, with the Braves down ten to nothing. Today's laugher is making yesterday's blooper-fest look like a close game.
It's like awakening from a dream and finding out that 1991-2005 never happened. I half expect to see Bob Horner step up to bat, or hear that Pascual PĂ©rez got lost circling I-285 on the way to the ballpark again...

Meh, they've come full circle, or at least back to where we used to watch Braves games strictly for the comic entertainment value.
Then again, I stopped paying attention to professional sports some time back.

Ah, it's like we're back in the 80's and I'm a GT freshman again. I think I'll fix myself a drink.
My friend and i were talking at the cubs game a week or so back, and he said he's getting a Braves throwback jersey. I asked him whose name he wanted on it. He said "Pascual Perez"
Genius.
Talked to a LONG TIME Braves Fan who said it's not officially time travel until there's so few in the stands that you can actually hear the hum of the stadium lights.
Don't worry Tam, the Braves are coming to visit my Reds next. After getting swept by the Royals it seems to be a good time.
On 'tother hand, the KC Royals beat the Red 7-1 sweeping the 3-game series!
Wonders will never cease!
